Empowerdex Exempted Micro Enterprise Certificate

The President's Award for Youth Empowerment recently received its empowerment rating from the empowerment rating agency, Empowerdex. A company qualifies for an EME (Exempted Micro Enterprise) certificate if its turnover per annum is lees than five million rands. EME's are exempted to comply with the BEE codes, therefore any organsiation buying from or receiving a service from an EME recognises procurement at 100% of the vlaue purchased as a BEE contribution level 4.
