The President's Award for Youth Empowerment is a registered non-profit organisation (004-920 NPO) and is registered with the South African Revenue Services under the 18A legislation as a Public Benefit Organisation, which enables donors to have a tax rebate on donations to the organisation (PBO930001329).
The work of The President's Award is supported by our funders and sponsors, who play a key role in ensuring the sustainability of the Award programme. There are some who have supported us for many year, including The Anglo American Chairman's Fund, The World Fellowship (UK), Rand Merchant Bank, Mutual & Federal, Barloworld, The Hilden Charitable Trust (UK) and Kinderpostzegels (Netherlands). There are others who have supported with significant amounts of financial support such as USAID.
In recognition of the support we have received from our funders and sponsors over the years, we have dedicated a page to these companies, Trusts and Foundations, which have played a key role in supporting youth empowerment in South Africa.
